Day 1

Transport from the airport to a hotel in San José, where we will overnight and rest from the flight.  The next day we will begin our awesome COAST TO COAST trip.

Day 2-3-4

We will travel to the southern border of our country.  Here we will cross over to Panamá through the town of Sixaola. We will arrive at Bocas Del Toro, a tourist attraction in Panamá with small folk towns and beautiful beaches.  Water activities such as snorkeling and a spectacular sight of corals and fish schools are awaiting our arrival.  On day 5, we will travel to the Caribbean part of our country.

Day 5 – 6

At the town of Tortuguero, we will enjoy the great biodiversity of the flora and fauna as we go along the canals heading towards the beach.  On Day 6 we will leave for La Fortuna of San Carlos where we will visit the Arenal Volcano.

Day 7 -8

At Fortuna in Arenal, we will visit the hot water springs, and those who love adventure may fly through the tree tops on a canopy tour or take a pleasing horse ride.  The train tour around the volcano is another exciting experience you should not miss.  On Day 8 we will leave for the Pacific Coast of our country and on our way we will stop at the sky tram.

Day 9 – 10

We will visit the beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park.  This is one of the most beautiful parks in Costa Rica with great variety of natural sceneries.  One of the main attractions is the tropical forest where we can still see some species in extinction such as the spider monkey.  We will enjoy the embracing beaches and a very nice hotel in the area.  On Day 10, we will travel to the North Pacific, driving through the Tárcoles River, where a tour guide will take us by boat through the river and we will be able to observe the crocodiles very closely.

Day 11 – 12

We will live an extreme adventure at Rincón de la Vieja National Park where we will enjoy watching the fumaroles, mud- therapy for your skin, and watching the flora and fauna of the area.

On Day 12 we will get ready to cross the border to our northern neighbor Nicaragua.

Day 12-13-14

 At Granada we will have a City Tour in the afternoon. We will visit the Convent of Saint Francis and the Church of Saint Francis, as well as the towns of  La Pólvora and the Cemetary Lugares.  These sites give us a clear picture of the Nicaraguan Culture since the colonial times.

  On Day 13 we will depart to Masaya where we will enjoy a wonderful Classical Tour including the Masaya Volcano National Park and we will go shopping at the fabulous Souvenier Market.  We will also visit the Catarina Observatory and San Juan de Oriente.

On Day 14 we will return to Costa Rica in the morning. On our way, we will visit a special zoo which is a replica of Africa in the city of Liberia.  Here we will be able to see some of the animals which inhabit said continent.

Day 15

We will enjoy the city of San José, where we will visit places with a rich history of culture and traditions.  As we walk through the streets of San José, you will be able to learn in a more direct way, the history behind each of the sites in Downtown San José.

Day 16

We will visit the Poás Volcano National Park, one of the most spectacular volcanoes of the country and the world with a beautiful view.  The main crater is considered one of the largest of the world.  After, we will visit The Waterfall Gardens where you can take the most exciting and colorful pictures of the different waterfalls and the large biodiversity that exists in the forests of the area.  Here we can enjoy a hummingbird garden, a butterfly garden, snake zoo and a frog farm.

Day 17

An amazing coffee tour will be the experience of the day.  We will learn about the coffee plantations which have made Costa Rica world famous and we will be part of a play which will make us feel as if we were born here.

Day 18

We hope this has been the most wonderful experience in traveling that you may have had. Today we will head for the airport and wish a safe and happy trip back home.
